J Taylor Consultant: David Chung

David N. Chung currently teaches High School English at Placentia-Yorba Linda School District in Southern California. During his teaching career, he has instructed both middle and high school students, including those belonging to Gifted/Talented, ELL, AVID, and Pre-IB programs. For over 15 years, David’s passionate and exciting instructional and presentation techniques have landed him lead training roles at numerous California Association for the Gifted sponsored events, school district professional development academies, and several other state and national conferences focused on curriculum differentiation. 

As the author of thinkthriveabound.blogspot.com and co-author of gatepathways.blogspot.com, David continues to solidify his role as the foremost national expert on the integration of the Depth & Complexity Framework within the secondary setting. He is the co-author of the Depth & Complexity Icon Posters and Content Imperative Posters (J Taylor Education, 2014) and has other resources on Literature Circles, Frames and Disciplinarian Thinking Circles on his blogs.
